Google Webmasters Page Gets It Wrong

Update (July 1, 2012): Google seems to have corrected this error in the last one week.
Notice anything interesting in the above image? Yes, Google itself missed on handling special characters in their Webmasters page title tag correctly. Analyzing the code shows that a plain hyphen is added instead of the HTML number for hyphen, which is &# 45; (without space).
Interestingly, in the following video, Matt Cutts talks about an unnamed ‘major search engine’ who failed to handle non-ASCII characters for several years.
